And now, the second of today’s Double Post Entry. Not only that, it’s a twist on the series: what I’m NOT Currently Obsessed with. Last entry, I was raving about Clinique’s cult favorite skincare line. But one of their latest additions was a big let-down: the Clinique Pep Start Eye Cream.

This product “provides a rush of hydration and instant brightening so you look and feel refreshed, wide awake, and ready for anything in as little as three seconds” (according to Sephora’s website). Heylo Beautiful Blossoms (BBs)! I hope you’re all having a better Friday than I am – rough day at work for me unfortunately on my end. 😦 I’m hoping that a session at the gym and blogging here before that will help me feel a little better.

I’m doing another entry on Clinique’s skincare line because I love it but my wallet hates it ಠ_ಠ. But when it comes to skincare, the wallet is going to lose the fight because good skincare outranks any makeup want list.

Currently Obsessed: Clinique Skincare

Surprise! And no, I didn’t make a posting mistake by doing a Currently Obsessed entry on a Saturday – I did promise a double post yesterday but I couldn’t be on the computer and type away after work and I didn’t get back home until midnight. I was surprised I was even able to coherently make an entry last night / this morning because my eyelids were half open while my fingers were flying all over the keyboard lol.

Now that that’s out of the way, onward to the main topic: Clinique Skincare!

It seems to have a love-hate cult status: some people swear by it, some think it’s overhyped. I fall more into the former, as I have been using some of the Clinique skincare products (as well as the makeup, but there’s a reason why I’m listing the skincare more than the makeup) for some time and they’ve done wonders to my skin.

But I did have a disappointment with one of their products, which I’ll mention later on.
