Currently Obsessed Round Up

Yes, I’m aware of the date that this entry is being posted to. And yes, I’m aware that yesterday was April Fool’s, when the entire Internet is suspicious of everything it comes across. Now that the dust has settled and the jokes have come and passed, it’s time to get back into the swing of things and deliver as promised – the CO Round Up for the month of March.

Just as I was getting ready to sit down and make up for all you Beautiful Blossoms the missing post for last Friday, life called and served me quite a plate that kept me well into the evening. I should start considering posting while I’m at work at this rate lol.

Let’s take a look back at what I obsessed, shall we?

  1. Nivea Intense Healing (formerly their Extended Moisture) Body Lotion (available at major retail stores and online) – this is my HG body lotion and has never failed me when it comes to treating my dehydrated winter skin. Lightly scented without being overpowering, I’m fiercely loyal to this product. The lowest price I’ve seen for this is on Amazon at $5.31. Occasionally goes on sale in drugstores, so be sure to check out the weekly circulars online or a physical copy in store!
Average retail price: $6-$9 depending on where you buy from.
  2. Burts Bees Lip Balm – also available at major retail stores and online) – I do take comfort in the fact that the ingredients are all-natural rather than synthetic, but all-natural doesn’t necessarily mean this is safer. Some people might be allergic to the ingredients used, so BUYER BEWARE! I rarely see Burt’s Bees Lip Balms go on sale in drugstore chains and in major retail stores. Average retail price: $3 and change for one tube. Twin packs might cost less depending on where you buy them as well.
  3. Lancôme Toners – (available at Lancôme’s official site, Macy’s, Sephora, and Amazon) – these are a little trickier to get ahold of because this is not carried by all major stores. You’re better off buying them at either Macy’s or Sephora for points or, in Macy’s case, as a GWP (gift with purchase). Amazon is the most expensive place to get them, so unless you have Prime membership, then skip Amazon for buying these babies.
Retail Price: $26 at Sephora and Macy’s – you get Beauty Insider Points and a free GWP on occasion, respectively. At this time, I don’t think Lancôme is doing any promos worth getting into, so you might wanna hit Sephora instead.

And that’s it for the Currently Obsessed Round Up for March 2016! Did you find yourself considering any of the products listed? Comment below if you did!

It’s now April, so that means we got a whole ‘nother batch of Currently Obsessed products! Stay tuned as I blog about what brand or product has me going bonkers for it!
